This machine strips off CNCs generated on the surface of sphere alumina; 80μm in diameter. By making alumina as sphere shape, much more CNCs can be collected with higher speed.　 CNC stands for Carbon Nano Coil and it is spirally formed of carbon nano tube. Carbon nano tube’s diameter which shaped as a coil is several μm to hundreds μm. CNC is a lighter and stronger material than steel. It has nature of electromagnetic wave absorber, therefore it is expected to use for cover of pacemaker, cell phone, or PC. However, previous CNC production speed was too slow to produce CNC even for study. Solving problems to strip CNC off from the sphere alumina as good condition and to convey the small grain lead to success to gain 19 times of CNC than the previous method.
